Today, at the IPMG Stakeholders’ Forum, we proudly launched the IPMG Manifesto—a strategic roadmap to transform access to medical innovation in Indonesia.

Congratulations Bayer Indonesia, one of IPMG member companies, to have reinforced its commitment to Indonesia's climate goals by inaugurating the country's largest rooftop solar power system in the multinational pharmaceutical sector at its Cimanggis plant, Depok, West Java. Utilizing 3,770 photovoltaic modules, this solar power installation generates 2,054 kWp, will eliminate carbon emissions by 2,073 metric tons annually, equivalent to planting 95,000 trees or removing 450 cars from the road.

Recently, IPMG joined a meeting between the Head of BADAN PENGAWAS OBAT DAN MAKANAN, Prof. dr. Taruna Ikrar, M.Biomed., Ph.D and Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (JPMA), where we witnessed his passion and determination to elevate Badan POM to WHO Listed Authority (WLA) status. This ambitious vision has been a consistent focus for Prof. Ikrar, who reiterated his commitment during the meeting and warmly invited JPMA to share ideas or initiatives to support BPOM in achieving this goal within the next year.

The Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) has ruled that the MR (Measles-Rubella) vaccine produced by the Serum Institute of India (SII)—intended to prevent measles and rubella—is currently permissible for use, despite being classified as *haram* (forbidden) due to the presence of porcine-derived ingredients. Naturally, this ruling would shift to a prohibition should a *halal* alternative to the SII vaccine become available.
