On a health mission to Indonesia, Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) visited Indonesia earlier this month and met with various stakeholders including International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Group (IPMG).

IPMG and PhRMA Julia Fabens and Anjam Aziz had a discussion session and exchanged perspectives on Indonesia's healthcare system and how the two can strengthen it by making more contributions and improving patient's access to innovative medicines that have high efficacy and safety.

"IPMG and PhRMA shared rather a similar mission to ensuring patients' access to innovative medicines and improving the healthcare system through medical innovation and manufacturing of products that meet international standards of pharmaceutical quality and safety. With that IPMG looks forward to further collaborate with PhRMA and continue to advocate patients' needs," said IPMG Executive Director Ani Rahardjo while concluding the meeting.
